On the left side of the screen, a list of choices appear. Choose whether you wish to pay via bank account (free) or via card (you'll pay fees). You may also choose Online Payment Options from the Announcements bell at the upper right of your screen.
Bank account: you'll be asked to enter details about your bank and your account. You'll then be instructed to watch your bank account for two days for two very small (from 5 to 25 cent) deposits and an offsetting withdrawal, with HOA EXPRESS in the description. Once you've noted these amounts, you'll have to log on to lehalahoa to provide these amounts to verify you've set up your account properly. At this point you can choose to pay your dues online via bank account. You are free to pay the entire annual dues amount, or make a partial payment, keeping in mind that the entire amount is due by February 1.
Credit / Debit Card: you'll be asked to enter your credit card information. You can then make your dues payment. You will note that the fees (3.2% of the sum of the dues and the fees, plus 80 cents) are added to the amount you choose to pay. As an example, if you choose to pay $200, you'll be informed that you are making a credit card charge of $207.44. You are free to pay the entire annual dues amount, or make a partial payment, keeping in mind that the entire amount is due by February 1.
The payment processing company Stripe handles these transactions for HOA Express and for Lehala. You may direct your online payment questions to Kelly Coburn at [email protected], or to any Board Member.
